Its major international airport, Douala International Airport (DLA) and seaport handles almost all exports and imports and plays a key role in the economic development of Central Africa. Douala also hosts about 75% of Cameroon’s companies, generates over 60% of the total GDP and accommodates an estimated 3 million inhabitants. A number that is rapidly increasing.
